Often
times, dimensional letters are made from metal, wood, plastic,
foam or some other high quality substrate. Metal letters convey
the greatest degree of integrity. Plastic letters do an excellent
job of corporate identification on a budget.

any substrate can be reproduced in the form of Dimensional
Letters. Interior use of these letters allow for an even wider
variety of faux materials to be used as well.

All of
these dimensional letter types can also be formed into custom
graphics - logos - type styles - you name it. For a truly
one of a kind, professional appearance, nothing beats the
look of polished brass or brushed aluminum. Though more expensive
than plastic or Minnesota injection molded letters, these
cast metal letters are truly the Cadillac of dimensional letters.
All exterior
grade Dimensional Letters are installed via aluminum all-thread
studs. These studs are typically 4" long and screw into
predrilled and tapped holes in the back of each letter. Generally,
three or four studs are needed for each letter, regardless
of size. SignsByWeb installs these letters for their
clients, but client installation is possible as well. We will
supply you with a pattern that indicates where to drill the
necessary holes into the wall on which you wish to install
your letters. Simply position this pattern on level on your
wall or building. Tape it down, and drill the holes. Remove
the pattern, put a bead of Silicone caulk on the aluminum
stud and slide each letter into the predrilled holes. The
letters will cure up and be secure within a couple of hours,
but no holding in place is necessary. Just install and you
are done.
